October Is a Good Month to Be a Skin Collector
Mojang’s Marketplace roundup for October 2026 landed with two new skin packs tucked in among the add-ons and horror maps. Podcrash put out Friends, a twelve-skin pack, and Pixelusion released Nature’s Way, ten teen-themed skins with an outdoorsy look. Both are part of this month’s Marketplace Pass lineup, so if you already pay for the pass there is nothing extra to spend on them.
The part most people will actually use is the Character Creator drop. There is a Pumpkin Hat, Pumpkin Wings, Pumpkin Boots, Pumpkin Pants and a full Pumpkin Knight outfit, which means you can build a seasonal look without touching a third-party skin editor. It is a small thing, but mixing Character Creator pieces over a custom skin is the closest Bedrock gets to layering, and the pumpkin set works well over darker base skins.
If you think about it, a skin is the most basic mod a player can make, and it is the entry point for a lot of people who later move on to bigger things. That same itch is why so many people are already searching for free GTA 6 mods a month before Rockstar’s game even ships. Minecraft just happens to make the first step easy, and October’s pumpkin gear is a nice excuse to take it.

A free skin from a pizza order
The odd one out this month is the Domino’s and Minecraft Dungeons II partnership. Starting Monday, October 26, qualifying Domino’s orders unlock one of three exclusive in-game cosmetics for Dungeons II, and the US promotion also gives away 20,000 free digital copies of the game. The cosmetics are a skin, a cape and a pet, and the collectible pizza boxes come in six Dungeons II designs. Nothing started before the 26th, so if you ordered on the weekend expecting a code, that is why nothing showed up.
Halloween on the other editions
Java players get their own seasonal touch on October 31, when mobs spawn wearing pumpkins. The 26.3 “Wilderness Bound” visuals also mean autumn colors are already in the world, so screenshots of a new skin look seasonal without any shader work. The Marketplace Spotlight published on October 20 leaned fully into horror, with Parasite Outbreak, The Bloop and Cave Dweller all featured, and a few of those come with their own bundled skins.
No official Halloween sale has been announced yet. If you are waiting to buy a skin pack outright rather than through the pass, there is no harm in holding on a few more days.
